Approximately 60 to 80 people attended the Drive Electric Expo at the Riverwalk Parking Lot in Peterborough Friday night, according to organizer Dori Drachman, a member of Peterborough Energy Committee and a leader of the Peterborough Renewable Energy Planning (PREP) team.
The event was part of First Friday activities, and included Peterborough Energy Committee Chair Emily Manns speaking about the new chargers for electric vehicles in the Riverwalk parking lot and thanking the rest of the committee and the town, especially Public Works Director Seth MacLean, for making them a reality.
Revision Energy, the Monadnock Sustainability Hub and Drive Electric NH all had tables, and visitors were able to take test drives in electric cars.
