Blotter: Electronic stalking, drug, firearm charges in Danbury - Danbury News Times

The following are arrests the Danbury Police Department reported to have made last week:

Oct. 4

A 47-year-old man from New Rochelle, N.Y., was charged with driving under the influence, blocking driveway and operating a motor vehicle in violation of license classification.

A 42-year-old Broad Street man was charged with disorderly conduct.

A 38-year-old woman from Hartford was charged with disorderly conduct.

A 19-year-old Osborne Street man was charged with breach of peace and first-degree failure to appear.

Oct. 5

A 28-year-old man from Waterbury was charged with third-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and breach of peace.

A 55-year-old Fairfield Avenue man was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a refused, suspended or revoked license or registration.

A 47-year-old woman from Waterbury was charged with first-degree criminal trespass.

A 25-year-old man from Waterbury was charged with use of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of a large capacity magazine and alteration of firearm identification mark, number or name. Read more here.

Oct. 6

An 18-year-old Harmony Street man was charged with threatening and disorderly conduct.

A 66-year-old man from New Milford was charged with evading responsibility.

A 31-year-old Padanaram Road woman was charged with risk of injury to child, second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault.

A 26-year-old Coalpit Hill Road man was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension.

A 26-year-old Scuppo Road man was charged with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

A 24-year-old Comstock Street man was charged with electronic stalking and violation of a protective order.

A 35-year-old Well Avenue woman was charged with disorderly conduct.

Oct. 7

A 20-year-old Main Street man was charged with stop sign violation and operating a motor vehicle with a refused, suspended or revoked license or registration.

A 42-year-old woman from Brewster, N.Y., was charged with sixth-degree larceny.

A 32-year-old Topstone Drive man was charged with breach of peace.

A 31-year-old Kenosia Avenue man was charged with violation of a protective order.

Oct. 9

A 67-year-old Smith Street man was charged with breach of peace.

A 39-year-old man from Norwalk was charged with violation of a protective order.

A 31-year-old Grand Street woman was charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and breach of peace.

A 21-year-old Blaine Street man was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

A 23-year-old Tamarack Avenue man was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and improper use of a marker, license or registration.

Oct. 10

A 20-year-old Spruce Mountain Road man was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

A 30-year-old woman from Carmel, N.Y., was charged with driving under the influence, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, failure to drive in proper lane, traveling unreasonably fast for conditions and failure to carry a certificate of registration or insurance ID.

A 36-year-old Park Avenue man was charged with driving under the influence.

A 26-year-old Griffing Avenue man was charged with evading responsibility, failure to drive upon right and operating a motor vehicle in violation of license classification.

A 30-year-old Mill Ridge Road woman was charged with leaving an unsupervised child in a vehicle.

A 24-year-old Padanaram Road man was charged with risk of injury to child, disorderly conduct, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree strangulation and second-degree unlawful restraint.

A 32-year-old Morris Street man was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

A 22-year-old Nicholas Street man was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace.
