RAPID CITY, S.D. – Monument Health has been recognized for using best practices in electronic medical records.
The company was recognized by EPic, a national health care software program.
The Epic Honor Roll Good Maintenance Grant program includes a financial grant that Monument Health said will be invested in its Epic services.
“Participation in the program shows our commitment to best practice, draws the most value from our investment in our Epic software, and helps improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve,” said Stephanie Lahr, M.D., chief medical and information officer for Monument Health.
Organizations honored through Epic’s Honor Roll Good Maintenance Grant Program meet specific requirements related to efficiency, fast system response times, preparedness for downtimes, implementing key Epic components and reaching benchmarks in population health.
Monument Health earned the Cum Laude distinction.
The Monument Health Information Technology Epic team began the process of applying for the recognition in early 2019. The final submission was completed in March 2020.
